IN THE SHADOW OF A JUNIPER

The documentary In the Shadow of the Juniper tells the highland and village life of Fatma Koçubaba and her siblings, who made a living as a shepherd after losing her parents at a young age. Fatma Koçubaba, who became the head of the family after her father's death, has been a shepherd for 63 years and takes charge of her 11 sisters. Due to Fatma Koçubaba's advancing age, her siblings became partners in her responsibilities.
