THE WORLD IN MY HEAD

In this age where cultures are rapidly disappearing with modern life and traditional ethnic clothing is gradually being forgotten, you will see why our women cannot give up their kofi and how they bond with their kofi. You will witness how the fez they wear has shaped their economic and marital status, profession, faith and ethnic identity. I tried to draw strong Anatolian women portraits with kofis embroidered with Anatolian colorful motifs.
