Beautiful Weather

Rıfat, who has his life routine and lives with his mother, works as a lost and found clerk and station announcer in a metro station in İstanbul. When Filiz, an attractive woman, comes to Rıfat's room to retrieve her lost phone, she forgets a poetry book in the room this time. After meeting Filiz, Rıfat starts to look on the bright side of his life.

While he is reading the poetry book and trying to break the banality of his life, one day Filiz comes to the subway unhappy. To make her happy, he reads the poem "Beautiful Weather" from the book instead of making routine station announcements.

"This beautiful weather has destroyed me.

In such weather, I resigned

From my civil servitude.

I took up tobacco in such weather,

In such weather I fell in love;

To take home some bread and salt

In such weather I forgot;

My poem-writing ailment

Always recurred in such weather;

This beautiful weather has destroyed me."
